Hypnotherapy helps you to make desired changes at an unconscious or subconscious level, which means the change takes place automatically without will power or effort. Anything that you can do really well, is done unconsciously e.g. driving, walking etc., you do not need to think about it.
Hypnotherapy is used at this clinic to create primarily a state of deep relaxation in which therapy is carried out. The patient remains in control of his/her thoughts and actions. The methods used may include giving positively worded suggestions, use of metaphor or story telling, inducing dreams, past life regression, present life regression, gut related hypnotherapy, hypno-healing, visualisation, analytical hypnotherapy, leading the patient through various relaxation techniques, fantasy, life scan etc.
The hypnotic trance state is an extremely pleasant and relaxing experience and is enjoyed by almost everyone. If patients prefer not to be treated by use of hypnotherapy their problems can still be successfully resolved by other therapeutic methods, however this may take a longer period of time.
A wide range of psychotherapeutic techniques, disciplines, and principles are used at this clinic, including psychoanalytical, behavioural, cognitive, and humanistic.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a meridian therapy and is most closely related to acupressure. As the patient concentrates on their particular problem, they tap on various meridian points in the upper part of their body using their finger tips. This action helps to balance energies within the meridians in the body and releases negative emotions. It is an extremely effective technique, and can be used for almost any problem.
Neuro-Linguistic programming (NLP) is a psychology therapy that helps people to improve the quality of their lives. It is an educational tool that teaches people to communicate more effectively with themselves and others. It is designed to help people to have personal freedom over their behaviour, feelings and thoughts. It helps people to make desired changes within their minds at an unconscious level.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is used to treat emotional and behavioural problems, from depression to anxiety or addictions. It will enable the patient to understand their negative thought patterns, and to modify their thinking so that they will respond more constructively to what arises in their life. CBT will help you to think better and to live a happier life.
